Recollection: Course on History and Philosophy

An upcoming course on history and philosophy in Delhi in the month of August. The course, titled Recollection, will be taught by Prof Dilip Simeon.

Prof. Dilip Simeon is a historian and a teacher with five decades of teaching experience. He has taught at Ramjas College (University of Delhi), at Ashoka University and campuses abroad. Prof Simeon has not just been a teacher, but also someone who has consistently engaged with various public issues of our times. 

The course will engage with important global events and ideas of the first half of the twentieth century. Among other things, it will look at the wars of the twentieth century, the rise of ideologies and the development of institutions that shape our present world. There will be eight lectures over four weeks, with sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays in Delhi.
